Fuel petcock inspection and cleaning
The fuel petcock has a built-in filter to
remove any particles before they reach the
carburetor. If the filter becomes b l o c k e d , the
fuel cannot enter the carburetor. T o prevent
this, inspection and cleaning should be done
at recommended intervals.
1. First, turn the petcock lever to the
" O F F " position; then remove the filter
cup and clean the b o t t o m of the cup
with solvent.
