Cable inspection and lubrication
1. Damage to the outer housing of the
various cables, may cause corrosion and
often free movement will be obstructed.
A n unsafe c o n d i t i o n may result so re-
place as soon as possible.
2. If the inner cables do not operate
s m o o t h l y , lubricate or ask y o u r Yamaha
dealer to replace t h e m .
Recommended lubricant:
S A E 1 0 W / 3 0
type " S E " m o t o r oil
L u b r i c a t i o n of levers, pedals, etc.
1. Lubricate the pivoting parts of the brake
and clutch levers with m o t o r oil
(10W/30).
2. Lubricate the shaft of the brake pedal
w i t h lithium soap grease.
