Spark plugs are produced in several different
thread lengths. T h e thread length (reach) is
the distance f r o m the spark plug gasket seat
to the end of the threaded p o r t i o n . If the
reach is too long, overheating and engine
damage may result. If the reach is t o o short,
spark plug fouling and poor Performance may
