4. Operate the carburetor starter jet
(chock) lever and completely close the
throttle grip.
5. K i c k the kick crank with f ü l l strength to
Start the engine.
6. A f t e r the engine Starts, warm up for one
or two minutes. Make sure the starter jet
(choke) lever is returned t o the original
Position before driving.
Starting a warm engine
1. Shift transmission into neutral.
2. T u r n the fuel petcock to " O N " .
3. T u r n the ignition key t o the #1 position
and engine stop switch to " R U N " .
4. Slightly open the throttle grip.
5. K i c k the kick crank w i t h f ü l l strength to
Start the engine.
