Steering lock
T o lock the steering, turn the handle bars
fully to the right, insert the key into the steer-
ing lock and turn the key about 1/8counter-
clockwise; then push the key in and turn it
about 1/8 clockwise. A f t e r checking if the
lock is engaged, remove the key f r o m the
lock. T o release the lock, reverse the above
steps.
Starter lever ( C H O K E )
When cold the engine requires a richer fuel
mixture for starting. A separate starter cir-
cuit, which is controlled by the starter circuit,
which is controlled by the starter, supplies
this mixture.
Push the lever d o w n to open the circuit (for
starting) and pull it up to d o s e the circuit.
