LS8900 Win7 Computer, (See Figure below)
Connect the RS-232 Cable (A) between any COM port (B) on the LABSYSTEM™ PRO computer (C) and a 9-pin
DSub serial connector (D) on the RF ablation generator (E) (see Notes below). Three COM ports (COM 1, COM 3,
and COM 4) are available on both of these computers.
• Refer to the instructions supplied with the RF generator to identify the correct serial port to use when
connecting the cable to the generator.
• If the LABSYSTEM computer is to be configured for use with a Stockert RF Generator with Stockert EP
Shuttle Global Port, refer to the RF Generator Interface cable (A) represented by dashed lines in the
figure below. For this configuration only, the cable must be connected to the male DB9 connector (F)
labeled "PC" on the Stockert EP Shuttle Global Port (G). It is recommended that COM 1 be used when
connecting the Stockert RF Generator to the LABSYSTEM computer.
DB9-DB9, serial, male/female, standard RS-232
Used to connect an RF Ablation generator to one of the COM ports on the LABSYSTEM PRO EP Recording
System computer.
DB9-DB9, serial, female/female, null modem RS-232C
Used to connect a Stockert RF Generator with Stockert EP Shuttle Global Port to one of the COM ports on the
LABSYSTEM PRO EP Recording System computer.
