COMPUTER CABLING DESCRIPTION AND DIAGRAMS

These instructions are intended to show the proper configuration for the cables and components used with
the LABSYSTEM™ PRO EP Recording System. Please see the Installation section for descriptions of each part.
Accessory equipment connected to the analog and digital interfaces must be certified according to the applicable
standards (e.g. IEC 950 for data processing equipment and IEC 60601-1 for medical equipment). Furthermore, all
configurations shall comply with the system standard IEC 60601-1. Anyone who connects additional equipment to
the signal input port or signal output port is configuring a medical system, and is, therefore, responsible to ensure
that the system complies with the requirements of the system standard IEC 60601-1.

Product Part Descriptions

Note: Additional cables and adapters–not indicated below or shown in the Figure at the end of this booklet–
are available for connecting the LABSYSTEM PRO EP Recording System computer to analog type CRT
(cathode ray tube) display monitors. Contact your local Boston Scientific Representative for additional
information on obtaining and connecting these components.
