No live image on the left side of the screen but User Interface is
present on the display.
Cause
Isiris α is not connected to
Isiris Monitor.
Isiris Monitor is operated in
yellow file management tab
or green settings tab.
Isiris Monitor and Isiris α have
communication problems.
Isiris α is damaged.
The image shown to the left is frozen.
Cause
A communication error
has occurred between
Isiris α and Isiris Monitor.
A recorded image
is shown in the yellow file
management tab.
Isiris α is damaged.
Low picture quality.
Cause
Light reflecting on
Isiris Monitor screen.
Dirty/damp screen.
Brightness and contrast
settings not optimal.
Blood, urine etc.
on the lens (distal tip).

Action
Connect Isiris α to the red port on Isiris Monitor.
Return to live image by pressing the blue
Live image tab or the red button with a black X
in the top right corner.
Restart Isiris Monitor by pressing the ON/OFF button for
at least 2 seconds. When Isiris Monitor is OFF restart by
pressing ON/OFF button once more.
Replace Isiris α with a new one.
Action
Restart the system by pressing the ON/OFF button on
Isiris Monitor for at least 2 seconds. When Isiris Monitor
is OFF restart by pressing ON/OFF button once more.
Return to live image by pressing the blue Live
image tab or the red button with a black X in the
top right corner.
Restart Isiris Monitor by pressing the ON/OFF button for
at least 2 seconds. When Isiris Monitor is OFF restart by
pressing ON/OFF button once more.
Replace Isiris α with a new one.
Action
Move Isiris Monitor to a position where no direct light
influences the screen.
Wipe the screen with a clean cloth.
Adjust the contrast and brightness using the designated
menu on Isiris Monitor.
Gently rub the distal tip against the mucosa. If the lens
cannot be cleaned this way remove Isiris α and wipe the
lens with sterile gauze.
