Connection and Installation of the Temperature Sensor
To be able to measure the rinsing and dry zone temperature of the crate washer, the unit
has two connections for two temperature sensors.
Suitable temperature sensors (order separately as accessory):
- Rinsing temperature sensor "Ecoplus" (contact sensor)
- Heat conductive paste (2 ml, in syringe)
The sensor may only be installed on the rinsing pipe after the boiler. The rinsing pipe must
be made of metal and must be straight (max. ∅ 12 to 28 mm). To avoid measuring errors the
WARNING
whole sensor must be insulated from the ambient temperature after installation.
Conventional insulation material must be used for this.
It must be taken into account that the temperature indicator of the boiler and the unit differ
after the crate washer has been out of operation for some time. A certain time must be
NOTE
waited for the rinsing pipe to heat up to achieve approximately identical temperature
displays.
Follow these steps to install the temperature sensor:

1. Find a suitable installation position on the rinsing pipe (fig.
11.2, item G).
2. Coat the metal surface of this place thinly with
heat conductive paste (fig. 11.5, item 5).
4
3. Place the sensor (fig. 11.5, item 2) carefully on the
prepared position and secure with the hose clip (item 3).
4. Insulate the sensor against the ambient temperature with the
insulation material.
5. Connect the sensor cable (fig. 11.5, item 4) to the plug
connector "G" of the unit.
6. Connect connection "G" of the unit.
