Connection of a crate counter

The connection assignment for different types of crate counters is specified in the table
below:
Ultrasonic sensor Type QS18UPAEQ8
Terminal (color)
A mechanical switch or a PNP output of an external control can also be connected in place
of an ultrasonic sensor.
In this case the pulse and interruption times must be observed (as described in sect. 7.8)
for correct detection of the crates.
When a PNP output of an external control is connected the ext. supply voltage may be

For potential isolation the hook-in switch S1 must be unhooked from the additional board!
