6.4.1.1 Time-dependent pre-metering (in conductivity measurement)

The pre-metering is activated as soon as an appropriate signal is available from the crate
washer (usually the filling signal for the cleaning tanks). The actual conductivity value must
be at least 20 % below the set-point value at the beginning of pre-metering.
To avoid the pre-metering being activated during refilling of the washing tank, the crate
washer must be switched off and then back on to start the pre-metering.
The pre-metering time to be set depends on the capacity of the washing tank, the
performance of the metering pump and the desired concentration.

The time is set in seconds.
To set the pre-metering time, proceed as follows:
1. Activate the SETTINGS DETERGENT 1 DOS menu.
2. Press the ENTER-key:

3. Set the desired value at the currently flashing digit with the upper-key or down-key.
The respective digit can be selected with the ENTER-key.
The time can be set to a value from 0 to 9999 sec at intervals of 1 sec.
4. Press the NEXT key to confirm.
6.4.1.2 Pre-metering delay
To prevent detergent from being metered before a minimum filling level in the washing tank
is reached, a "delay time for the pre-metering" (delayed pre-metering start) can be set.
The time is set in seconds.
To set the pre-metering delay time, proceed as follows.
1. Activate the PRE-METERING DELAY menu.

2. Select the desired delay time with the upper-key or down-key.
The time can be set to a value from 0 to 999 sec at intervals of 1 sec.
3. Press the NEXT key to confirm.
