3.2.6

Booster function (increased concentration)

In order to be able to clean heavily soiled crates perfectly, the detergent concentration can
be increased temporarily (booster mode). This function can be activated in the operating
level. The concentration value is reset to its original value automatically after one hour at the
latest but it can also be reset manually.
3.2.7

Automatic zero-point suppression (ZC).

Automatic zero-point suppression can only be activated in the conductivity and
NOTE
proportional metering + conductivity mode mode.
This function is useful when high or fluctuating water conductivity is to be expected.
Preconditions for carrying out a zero-point suppression:
• In the CONFIGURATION FUNCTIONS the ZERO CALIBRATION AUTO? must be set to
"YES".
• The supply voltage on the
• The cell may not yet be covered by water when switching on the supply voltage.
• A pre-metering signal must be applied to the Aquanta Control with the refilling.
• The water conductivity must be < 10mS/cm.
• No post-metering enable signal may be applied to the Aquanta Control.
Function process:
When switching on the supply voltage and an existing pre-metering enable, the display
shows "ZC", the pre-metering is initially suppressed and the conductivity in the tank is
measured.
If the conductivity is approximately 0mS/cm, an empty tank is assumed. As soon as the
rising water level reaches the cell, the conductivity value increases up to the point where the
cell is completely covered by water. This "stationary" state is detected and used to enable
the calibration. Then an average value is calculated. If the average value of the measured
conductivity is below the limit value of 10mS/cm automatic calibration of the conductivity cell
(suppression of the water conductivity) takes place).
If the determined value is greater than 10mS/cm a "SYSTEM ERROR 6" is displayed and a
following detergent metering is blocked.
To delete the error message, the supply voltage must be switched off and back on.
After a successful zero-point suppression the display "ZC" disappears, the conductivity
display resets to 0.0mS/cm and the pre-metering is started (providing that the pre-metering
enable signal is still applied).

Rinse Aid Metering

In normal mode the rinse aid pump operates when the RINSE AID METERING? Is set to
"YES" in the configuration level and for as long as the appropriate enable signal is available
from the crate washer.
(Signal from the rinsing valve or the belt transport)
