Installation of the safety overflow line

The safety overflow hose (transparent PVC hose; included in scope of supply) has to be
IMPORTANT
installed and must only be used for the overflow line.
 Cut PVC hose to required length, attach to a receptacle or direct to mains drainage.
5.6

Installation and connection of measuring cell

When defining the measuring and dispensing points in the DW tank, the flow
characteristics of the cleaning fluid need to be taken into account.
The measuring point must always be located in direction of flow after the dispensing
NOTE
point.
The bore for the measuring cell should be located at an angle of about 45 degrees to the
bottom of the tank to prevent residue and air bubbles building up in the bore.
To enable the unit to operate perfectly, the following
installation instructions need to be observed for the
measuring cell:
Carry out the installation as follows:
 Fabricate a sufficiently large hole at the desired location in the tank wall.
 Fit the measuring cell to the tank wall of the DW.
5.7

Electrical connection

Electrical repairs must always be carried out by electricians! When opening covers or
removing parts, other parts carrying an electrical current can be exposed.
Connecting parts can also be carrying an electrical current.
The maximum permissible voltage must not be exceeded.
The unit does not have its own On/Off. The unit can be connected using the master switch
WARNING
on the DW, failing which a suitable master switch needs to be installed (provide this on
location).
It has to be ensured that the unit is protected with a suitable back-up fuse
(see chapter
Always use approved installation parts and accessories; refer to 'Ecoplus-S' accessories
and installation list.
All current international, national and regional safety regulations must be observed in
