7.7
Activation of the Monitoring of the Dry Zone Temperature
If the drying temperature of the crate washer is to be monitored by the
CONTROL, the DRY ZONE TEMP MEASUREMENT? must be set to YES.
7.8
Activation of the Metering Control for an Additive
If the pump for an additive (e.g. disinfectant) is to be controlled by the
the ADDITIVE METERING? parameter must be set to one of the selection menus
VD/ND/VD+ND.
VD
= additive pump operates during pre-metering
ND
= additive pump only operates during post-metering (standard setting)
ND+VD
= additive pump operates during pre-metering and post-metering.
7.9
Selection of the operating mode for detecting the crates by a crate counter
Detection of the crates by a crate counter can be set in three different ways:
1. PULSE FAST
2. PULSE
3. TIME
The choice of operating mode must be determined by adapting the machine version and the
used crate counter.
In PULSE FAST the pulse must be ≥ 200 ms to detect the crates.
In PULSE the pulse must be ≥ 1.5 ms to detect the crates.
In TIME one crate per set time is counted in connection with the rinsing enable (belt
transport) and with pulse on.
IMPORTANT
NOTE
To set the operating mode:
Activate the CRATE COUNTER menu and select the desired operation mode with the
upper-key or down-key.
Press the NEXT key to confirm.
The time can be set with the upper-key or down-key in the Time setting.
7.10
Restoring the Standard Settings
When RESET TO FACTORY SETTINGS is switched from NO to YES, all configuration
parameters are reset to ex-works settings.
WARNING
Therefore the security prompt ARE YOU SURE? always appears.
The setting must be changed from NO to YES for every prompt to confirm the intention to
change.

(e.g. to increase the metering performance)
In the PULSE FAST or PULSE setting the respective minimum pulse duration and a pulse
interruption (≥ 200 ms) per crate must be kept for a correct acquisition of the crates. A
minimum distance between the crates must be kept for an appropriate pulse interruption.
The size of the crate (dwell time) is decisive for correct acquisition of the crates in the
TIME setting.
