12.
Start up
Start up the unit as follows:
1. Switch on the crate washer.
2. Configure the metering unit.
3. Fill the washing tank with clean water.
4. Carry out the conductivity zero-point calibration manually if necessary.
5. Determine the water value by titration.
6. Make all the parameter settings.
7. Delete the fault message memory.
8. Insert the suction lances in the detergent or rinse aid container.
9. Set the metering rates of the rinse aid metering pump. The metering rate can be set
steplessly from 15 – 100% by the knob on the pump head.

10. Set detergent concentration
To ensure that no detergent is metered during commissioning of the crate washer, the
detergent concentration is set ex-works to zero (DETERGENT CONC: OFF).
11. After two to three cleaning cycles, check the concentration through titration.
Adapt the necessary conductivity value accordingly if necessary.
The conductivity value must have reached the nominal value approximately before
NOTE
starting the titration process for the detergent solution.
12. Check all hose connections, connections and unit components for leaks and perfect
functioning.
