Configuration of the Alarm Message Settings

The configuration of the fault message settings can also be entered and transmitted on the
NOTE
PC in connection with the "AquantaGet" PC software.
The following settings can be made with the ALARM CONTROL SETUP menu:
1. Limit values for the triggering of fault messages and alarm delay times and alarm priority.
(MESSAGE, ALARM DELAY and PRIORITY).
2. Activation or deactivation of the alarm repeat function (ALARM REPEATFUNCTIONS)
6.5.1

Setting of limit values for fault messages and alarm delay times

Limit values for the alarm trigger, alarm delay times and alarm priorities can be defined in
the ALARM CONTROL SETUP menu.
To set the limit values and delay times, proceed as follows:
1. Activate the SETTING DETERGENT 1 DOS menu.
2. Press theENTER-key to activate the first sub-menu.
3.
In the first sub-menu EMPTY DETERGENT DELAY (xxx sec.) set the value for the
alarm delay of the detergent empty message.
4. Scroll to the respective next sub-menu with the NEXT key and set the appropriate values
there.
The different alarm types and alarm priorities are described in the following sections. The
NOTE
respective setting ranges, standard values and recommended values are listed in the
"overview of alarm and delay settings".

6.5.1.1 Alarm priorities

The importance of the respective alarm can be determined by defining priority levels. The
individual priority levels are defined as follows:
Display

NUR MEMORY
VISUAL / MEMORY
AKUST/VISU/MEM
An alarm repeat time can be set in the ALARM REPEAT menu by changing from OFF to ON.
NOTE
The alarm repeat time can be set in minute steps between 1 and 999 minutes.

Description of the alarm priority
No priority: No alarm is generated.
Low priority: The alarm is recorded as a message in the fault message report.
The function of the unit is not affected. The unit stays ready for operation.
Medium priority The alarm is shown as a message in the display and recorded
in the fault message report. The function of the unit is not affected. The unit
stays ready for operation.
High priority: An alarm tone sounds and the alarm is shown as a message in
the display and recorded in the fault message report.
Max. metering time and empty signal fault messages that lead to the metering
being interrupted always have top priority. The acoustic alarm can be switched
off by pressing any key on the front panel. The alarm indicator in the display
remains until the fault is repaired (with the exception of the max. metering time
where the time and metering are restarted).
