Metering of an Additive

The board has an output for controlling another external metering pump (e.g. for metering a
disinfectant). This metering pump is activated in the conductivity metering mode parallel to
the detergent 1-metering pump. In the proportional metering an own concentration can be
set in the parameterization level for the additive metering.
The output for controlling the external metering pump can be configured for different
operating phases.
NOTE
Additive metering is only possible in conjunction with detergent 1!

Product exhaustion monitoring

The
AQUANTA CONTROL II
for detergent 1, detergent 2, the rinse aid and the additive.
If a configured product runs out, the metering process is automatically interrupted and an
alarm is triggered.

Structure of the Control Electronics

The
AQUANTA CONTROL II
16-digit display unit (LC display). All basic function of the device are controlled by this board.
The main board (Art. No. 223589) contains:
• switching outputs for detergent 1- and rinse agent metering pump
• switching output for external alarm signal
• measuring inputs for conductivity and temperatures (washing and rinsing temperature)
• empty level input for detergent 1
An add-on board is also integrated which switches the following functions:
• enable signal "circulation"
• enable signal "filling"
• enable signal "rinsing"
• rinse aid empty signal
• detergent 2 empty signal
• additive empty signal
• switching output for detergent 2- metering pump
• enable input (supply voltage 24VAC) for additive metering pump
• switching output for additive metering pump
• two water meter inputs (WM I and WM II)
• measuring input for temperature sensor (dry zone temperature)
• input for switching of detergent 1 to detergent 2 metering
• input for crate counter connection
• data transmission function (via RS485)
The control electronics are divided into the following levels:
• operating level (OPERATION INDICATIONS and STATUS REPORTS
• service level (SERVICE FUNCTIONS)
• parameterization level (PARAMETER FUNCTIONS)
• configuration level (CONFIGURATION FUNCTIONS)
