9.2 USB key
The SanDisk Cruzer Blade key is an example of a typical USB key proven to work with the
Actim 1ngeni instrument.
Actim Oy advises the use of a low profile USB Key such as the LaCie MosKeyto USB Flash
Drive to reduce the risk of instrument damage and/or failure due to pronounced accidental
loading on the profile of most USB Keys.

9.3 Barcode reader

Datalogic QuickScan Barcode Wand, QD2430
The Actim 1ngeni instrument can accept input from a standard USB connected barcode wand
when the barcode wand operates in "keyboard mode". In "keyboard mode" the wand will
supply a character string to the USB that appears in any enabled text box as if it were typed
from a keyboard.
Plug the cable into the instrument then connect it to the Actim 1ngeni instrument via USB. For the complete setup
