SERVICE.

SERVICE MODE

To enter service mode from the main menu, press and hold the
'volume +' and 'volume -' buttons on the front panel of the TV
simultaneously until the 'Service' and 'Exit Service' options appear
at the bottom of the main menu.
The service option is then used to access the service menus. The
TV will remain in service mode until the 'Exit Service' option is
used to exit service mode. The install option is also always
displayed in this mode.
Whilst the TV is in service mode, the factory information will be
displayed when the TV is not in menu or teletext modes. The
information displayed is comprised of software versions, model
number and stored fault information (see below).

SERVICE MENU

This menu is displayed when the Service option is selected from
the main menu. Each of the items will display the appropriate
service sub menu. Each of the sub menus is described in detail
below
TUNER ADJUSTMENT SERVICE MENU
The options available in this menu are as follows.
Std IF AFC. Adjusting this item will initiate the automatic
AFC alignment for standards BG/I/DK. Refer to the
alignment procedure for more information.
L' IF AFC. Adjusting this item will initiate the automatic
AFC alignment for standard L. Refer to the alignment
procedure for more information.
AGC T'over. This item allows adjustment of AGC
takeover. Refer to the alignment procedure for more
information.
Def. Std. This sets the default standard for sets that
have automatic standard determination.
Standards. This sets the list of available standards for
sets that have automatic standard determination.
NB Sets that do not have automatic standard determination have a
BG on/off option and a standard option, which allows selection of 1
standard. The Def. Std and Standards options are not available on
these sets.
VHF. This option is used to enable VHF tuning for sets
that have a VHF (export) tuner fitted.
AFC Offset, L' Offset. These should not be adjusted
from the factory settings.
