Indication of whether the fault is not currently present. Unless stated above, this indication is set to false when the TV is brought out
of standby and set to true when the fault is detected.
An illustration of how this information is presented on the screen is given below.
POWER CYCLE COUNTER.
A count of times the TV is powered up is kept in the EEPROM. This count increases by 1 every time the TV is powered up and is set
to zero when a fault occurs, and therefore provides an indication of the time since the last fault. When the count value reaches 30
(decimal), then all of the fault status values are automatically reset, as the faults are considered no longer important.

A typical display of fault information as may be seen when the TV is in service mode is shown below. Fault code 0000
(microprocessor watchdog) is current and fault code 1 (power good line) has occurred 5 times.

DIAGNOSTIC INTERFACE
The television software allows for the connection of a PC to perform certain diagnostic functions. This connection operates using
pins 10 and 12 of SCART2 (AV2). This diagnostic interface is always enabled when the TV is in service mode. Also, in the situation
where a fault exists that prevents normal entry into service mode, powering up the TV with both VOL ± buttons on the front of the set
pressed simultaneously will also enable this interface.
