Total permissible weight corresponds to the data in the vehicle
50
is the relationship between the total
brake force of the vehicle and its total
weight force (the latter is usually the
total permissible weight of the vehicle
expressed in daN).
testing is implemented as non-
controlled right/left rotation. The roller
drive motors rotate in opposite
directions. Brake tests on vehicles
with permanent all-wheel drive can be
performed in accordance with the
vehicle manufacturer's instructions.
causes the drive motors to cut out
immediately if, while they are running
up to speed, there is a vehicle
positioned on the rollers and its
brakes have been applied.
determines the manner in which the
test bench software executes the
brake test. There are two modes
available – "automatic" and "manual".
is the software which is required to
address the microprocessor and
therefore to operate the test bench.
is the relationship between the wheel
brake force and the wheel load.
device used to measure the actuating
force applied to the brake pedal and
the handbrake.
lateral surface (flank) of the tyre.
when the brake force becomes
greater than the frictional force
between the tyre and the test roller,
the wheel begins to "slip" and
attempts to lock up (speed difference
in % between tyre and roller).
used to register the wheel speed.
