2. Safety information
Please observe the following safety instructions, for your own
safety and that of your customers.
The safety instructions not only draw your attention to possible
hazards but also provide information as to how you can avoid
them in the first place.
The safety instructions are also incorporated into the operating
instructions, where they are identified by the following symbols:

Information - provides information
! Caution - draws attention to dangers for test unit/test piece
Danger for persons - general marked
or specifically marked
electrocution, risk of injury, risk of burning ect.
As a reminder, the position
of the main switch
is indicated in the
operating instructions
by this symbol:

2.1 Safety information for operating staff
i The screws used to secure the cover panels must be
properly tightened in order to avoid damage to tyres.
! Drive the vehicle slowly onto the rollers in order to avoid
unnecessary stresses.
! Only drive the vehicle off the rollers while they are rotating.
!
Do not use the roller drive motors to start a vehicle engine.
! Do not use for testing motor cycle brakes.

When the brake system analyser is not in use, switch the
power supply off at the main switch. Secure the main switch
to prevent it being switched on by an unauthorised person.
Cover the rollers while the system is out of use or place a
barrier across the front.

Do not leave a vehicle parked on the rollers.
No repairs or other work may be carried out on a
vehicle when in the roller set of the brake analyzer.
Operating staff should wear work clothes with no
loose belts or loops and protective footwear with no

laces.
Loose belts and shoelaces could become trapped in
the rollers and endanger the operator.
Make sure that nobody is standing in the immediate
vicinity of the test bench.
Danger to life for anyone standing close to the
roller set!
Observe accident prevention regulations.
In the event of danger, turn the system

off at the main switch.
If the vehicle is not positioned at right-angles to the
rollers, it will drift sideways.
