Residual risks, e.g. of crushing and shearing

Safety measures:
¶
Do not reach into moving parts.
¶
Make sure there is no pressure left in the lifting de-
vice by lowering it completely.
¶
Before working on the lifting device, lower it comple-
tely.
¶
Only trained customer service personnel may repair
the lifting device.
¶
Secure the working space for repairs.
¶
In case of a defect, support vehicle axles by placing
plates between them.
¶
Do not reach in before supporting the lifting device
in such a way that it does not have to support its
own weight.
¶
Use a suitable filter to filter the hydraulic fluid.
¶
Maintain the specified pressure of the hydraulic
system.
Risk of injury in case of misuse!
Safety measures:

Do not use the lifting device as a vehicle lift for pas-
senger cars.

4.4 Suspension tester
Risk of slipping due to rough and slippery
surfaces and in wet conditions!
Safety measures:
¶
Only operate the unit with the complete cover.
¶
Install an information sign (Risk of slipping!).
¶
Keep the suspension tester free of contamination,
snow and moisture.
¶
Do not drive off the suspension tester while the
swing plates are moving. This could result in seve-
re damage to the mechanical components of the
Brake System Test Equipment.

Suspension tester with noise simulator
!
If noise simulations are performed with heavy vehic-
les and at low frequencies for an extended period
of time, the motors of the suspension tester might
overheat. If a smell of motors overheating becomes
apparent, close the software application immediate-
ly for at least 15 minutes.

Use the remote control ("Stop" key) to switch off
the suspension tester or test lane and not the main
switch so the cooling fans will continue to run.
Risk of injury from high discharge currents in
case of direct or indirect contact!
The suspension tester with noise simulator
can generate a direct current in the protective
ground conductor.
Safety measures:

Use a residual-current device (RCD) or residual-
current monitor (RCM).
¶

device or residual-current monitor:
