No changes may be made to our products. Our products
may only be used in combination with original acces-
sories and original service parts. Failing to do so, will
render null and void all warranty claims.
This product may only be operated using Beissbarth
approved operating systems. If the product is operated
using an operating system other than the approved one,
then our warranty obligation pursuant to our supply
conditions will be rendered null and void. Furthermore,
we will not be held liable for damage and consequential
damage incurred through the use of a non-approved
operating system.

Workshop operator obligations
Smoking is strictly prohibited in the immediate vicinity
of the product. Appropriate signs must be posted by
the workshop operator.
The workshop operator is obligated to provide or per-
form the following protective measures:

Accident prevention
R
Prevention of occupational diseases
R
Avoidance of work-related health hazards
R
Measures for creating humane working conditions
The workshop operator must ensure that hydraulic sys-
tems and equipment are set up, modified and maintained
in accordance with the rules pertaining to the operation
of hydraulics. Only qualified personnel may perform work.
Alternatively, any work must be carried out under the
supervision of qualified personnel.
The workshop operator must ensure that only autho-
rized and trained personnel work with the brake tester
or test lane.
Provisions for electrical systems (DGUV provision 3)
In Germany, electrical engineering is subject to the ac-
cident prevention regulations of the trade association
"Electrical Systems and Equipment under DGUV Provisi-
on 3" (previously BGV A3). In all other countries, the ap-
plicable national regulations and laws must be observed.

Basic rules
The workshop operator must ensure that electrical sys-
tems and equipment are set up, modified and maintained
in accordance with the rules pertaining to electrical engi-
neering. Work must be carried out by qualified electrici-
ans or under the supervision of qualified electricians.
If an electrical system or piece of electrical equipment
is found to be defective, the workshop operator must
ensure that the defect is rectified immediately. If the-
re is an immediate hazard present until the defect is
rectified, the workshop operator must lock the electrical
system or piece of electrical equipment down.
Tests (taking Germany as an example):

The workshop operator ensures that the electri-
cal systems and equipment are tested for proper
working order. The test is performed by a qualified
electrician or under the supervision of a qualified
electrician:

Before initial commissioning.
$
Before re-commissioning after modifications or
repairs.

In specified maintenance interval. Chose intervals
such that defects that can be expected to occur
are found in time.

Observe the applicable regulations for electrical
engineering during testing.

On request of the trade association, specified ent-
ries have to be made into an inspection log.
