Maintenance hazards
Electrical hazards during maintenance!
Opening the brake tester or test lane and im-
proper maintenance can lead to injury!
Safety measure:
¶
Observe the mandatory maintenance intervals or
those specified in the product description or opera-
ting instructions.
¶
Brake testers and test lanes may only be maintained
by trained customer service personnel.
¶
Before maintenance, switch off the brake tester or
test lane and secure it to prevent it from being swit-
ched on inadvertently.
¶
Do not perform maintenance work during operation.
¶
When working on the electrical equipment, observe
the safety instructions.
¶
Do not attempt to perform maintenance work your-
self.
¶
Take effective precautions when overriding safety
measures.
¶
If bolts have been loosened, use the specified tighte-
ning torque to re-tighten them.
¶
After maintenance, install and check the safety
device.
¶
The unit may only be switched on with the safety
device fully installed.

Hazards during repair work
Electrical and mechanical hazards during
repair work!
Opening the brake tester or test lane and im-
proper repair work can lead to injury!
Incorrect or faulty spare parts are a safety
risk. The failure of safety-critical parts of the
brake tester or test lane may be fatal.
Safety measure:

Brake testers and test lanes may only be repaired by
trained customer service personnel.
¶
Before performing repairs, switch off the brake tes-
ter or test lane and secure it to prevent it from being
switched on inadvertently.
¶
When working on the electrical equipment, observe
the safety instructions.

Always use original spare parts.
¶
Do not attempt repairs yourself.

cations made by the user and the resulting damage.
