Stacco serbatoio carburante e convogliatori

Rimuovere la sella e scollegare la batteria come descritto a pag.E.16.
Rimuovere il tubetto di sfiato (1) dal perno di sterzo. Posizionare il rubinetto
carburante (2) sulla posizione OFF ed allentare la fascetta sulla tubazione (3)
di collegamento al carburatore; sfilare detta tubazione dal rubinetto e versare
in una bacinella la benzina residua.
a) escluso TE 510 Centennial: togliere le viti (4) che fissano i convogliatori al
serbatoio e recuperare le rispettive bussole; rimuovere i convogliatori (7), le
viti (5) che fissano gli spoiler (8) ai radiatori recuperando anche in questo
caso le rispettive bussole. Togliere gli spoilers, svitare la vite di fissaggio (6)
del serbatoio e rimuovere quest'ultimo tirandolo indietro.
b) TE 510 Centennial: togliere le viti di fissaggio (5) degli spoiler ai radiatori
ed al serbatoio. Togliere gli spoilers, svitare la vite di fissaggio (6) del serba-
toio e rimuovere quest'ultimo tirandolo indietro.

Removal of fuel tank and conveyors

Remove the saddle and disconnect the battery from the electric system as
described on page E.16.
Remove vent pipe (1) from steering axle. Set the fuel cock (2) on OFF posi-
tion and loosen clamp on the carburettor connecting hose (3); remove the
hose from the cock and pour the remaining gasoline in a vessel.
a) TE 510 Centennial excluded: loosen the screws (4) which fix conveyors to
gas tank and recover the bushes under the screws; remove conveyors (7),
screws (5) which fix spoilers (8) to radiators and recover the bushes under
the screws. Remove spoilers, unscrew the fuel tank fastening screw (7) and
remove the tank by pulling it backwards.
b) TE 510 Centennial: remove the spoilers fastening screws (5) to the
radiators and to the fuel tank. Remove spoilers, unscrew the fuel tank fasten-
ing screw (7) and remove the tank by pulling it backwards.
