(Idle speed stop screw)
The throttle stop screw is the back, single adjusting screw. It is
already set and should not be modified.
The throttle stop screw regulates the position of the throt-
tle valve (the throttle stop) and thus the air supply in idle
speed.
When screwed in, the conical spike of the screw pushes a lever
on the rotary axis of the throttle valve downward, and thus opens
the slit. When it is loosened, the throttle valve closes.

The idle speed-mix adjusting screw is marked with „L", it is the
smaller of the two adjusting screws.
It is adjusted for the first start and should not be modified yet.
The idle speed-mix adjusting screw regulates, via a needle
valve, the air/fuel mix in the idle and in the transition interval
to full throttle.

aIn nOzzel needle
The main nozzle needle is marked with „H"; it is the bigger of the two adjusting screws.
It is adjusted for the first start of the motor and should not be modified yet.
The main nozzle needle regulates the air / fuel mix from the middle speed range to full throttle.
The main nozzle needle can be adjusted only under load!
Under load, the mix tends to be leaner.

With the choke valve, the air supply from the outside to the carburettor can be cut off to a
large extent. Thereby, the mix is enriched for a short time, which facilitates the start of the
cold engine. If the choke valve remains shut too long, the mix becomes too rich, the engine
is "flooded" and it stops.

One can recognize the setting of the carburettor by looking at the state of the spark
plug.
-
If the electrode is white or very light, the mix is too lean and must be enriched by
all means
-
A black and/or a slightly moist electrode indicates a mix that is too rich.
Lean the mix in steps in order to achieve a better driving performance.
-
A middle brown electrode indicates a perfect carburettor adjustment.
Also check occasionally with a feeler gauge the electrode clearance to the spark plug.
Too big a clearance causes misfiring; too small a clearance causes "continuous fire" and advanced ignition.

Make sure that the rechargeable batteries of transmitter and receiver are fully charged.
Check the range of the remote control transmitter and the function of the RC- System.
Air filter
Never drive without air filter!
The foam insert prevents dirt from penetrating into the engine via the intake air. In addition, moisten the foam insert of the air
filter with a low viscosity air filter oil in order to filter out dust.
Foreign bodies which penetrate via the intake air between cylinder lining and piston can cause the piston to get stuck or
piston seizure, which would then damage the engine and cause consequential damage in the drive section.
Prop up the model for starting so that the wheels hang freely in the air and that the main pinion
on the lower side does not get blocked!
