d) Setting of ABS function
Your remote control transmitter is provided with an ABS function, with which you can optimize the
brake function of electric models. In doing so, the brake function is electrically synchronized to avoid a
blocking of the wheels. Especially when driving bends, this is how oversteering or understeering is
prevented.
Please note:
The ABS function only works with an electric model which is equipped with an electronic
cruise control with brake function. Since your model is equipped with a combustion en-
gine, you should always switch off the ABS function.
• Switch the transmitter on. On the transmitter's LC dis-
play the operating display will appear.
• Now press the menu select button SEL (see illustration
01, pos. 4) 4 x. On the left edge of the display ABS (Anti-
lock Braking System) will appear and on the top right
the channel 1(CH 1) for the steering is shown.
• With the channel shift key (see illustration 1, pos. 5) you
can switch to channel 2 (drive function).
• With the two setting buttons (see illustration 1, pos. 6)
you can now set the ABS function individually.
OFF: The ABS function is turned off
SLW: Setting for slow running engines
NOR: Setting for normal running engines
FST: Setting for fast running engines
• The value set last is always automatically saved.
Please note:
When the ABS function is turned off, the drive
direction is switched instantly when the oper-
ating lever for the drive function (see illustra-
tion 1, pos. 8) is pushed forward.
When the ABS function is turned on, the brakes
are only applied when the operating lever for
the drive function is pushed forward. Only
when you let the lever spring back into the
centre position and then push it forward again,
will the drive function be switched to "back-
wards".
