15. Maintenance and Care

a) Remote control transmitter
Clean the exterior of the remote control only with a soft, dry cloth or brush.
Never use aggressive cleansing agents or chemical solutions, because they might damage
the surface of the housing.
b) Model vehicle
• Clean the model with a soft, dry cloth after every use and remove any dirt and sand as well as fuel or
oil residues.
• For the cleaning of the drive gears, it is best to use a brush with stiff bristles.
• Treat the engine with an after run oil, after every use and if it is not used for a longer period of time,
with a preserving oil.
• Wash the air filter at regular intervals and lubricate it again with afterwards with air filter oil.
• Check all screw connections at regular intervals to make sure they are tight. Turnable parts have to
be easily movable but there must be no clearance in the bearing.
• Regularly check the tyres for wear and test the function of the brakes and shock absorbers.
