Warnings
In the case of any damages which are caused due to failure to observe these operating
instructions, the guarantee will expire. We do not assume liability for resulting damages!
Nor do we assume liability for damage to property or personal injury, caused by improper
use or the failure to observe the safety instructions! The guarantee will expire in any
such case.
Normal wear and tear during operation (eg bald tyres) are excluded from the guarantee
and warrantee, the same is the case for accidental damages (eg broken off transverse
links, scratched or destroyed car body etc.).
Dear Customer, the safety instructions are not only for the protection of the product but
also for your own safety and that of other people. This is why you should read this chapter
very carefully, before using the product!
• The product is not a toy. It is not suitable for children under 14 years of age.
• Don't let the model drive on public roads and streets.
• If you have not yet sufficient knowledge on how to deal with remote-controlled models, please get
in contact with an experienced model sportsman or with a model construction club.
• The safety regulations given by the fuel manufacturer when dealing with methanol fuels, have to be
adhered to be all means.
• Each time before you use the model, please check the functional safety of your model and of the
remote control system. Pay attention to visible damages such as broken plug-in connections or
damaged cables. All movable parts on the model have to be smooth running, however, there must
be no tolerance in the bearing. When the transmitter antenna is pushed in, the range should still be
approx. 25 – 30 m.
• The rechargeable batteries necessary for the operation of your remote control, have to be charged
up according to the manufacturer's instructions. Too little power supply because of empty recharge-
able batteries or batteries lowers the range and you may lose all control over your model.
• Please note that charged rechargeable batteries can deliver extremely high currents. In the case of
a short circuit, the cables can get very hot and can cause severe burns. They also might explode!
• Before you are using your transmitter, please make sure that there is no other model sportsman
who uses the same channel in direct proximity. Since two transmitters on the same channel inter-
rupt each other, controlling the models is no longer possible.
• When turning on the system it has to be made sure that it is always the transmitter that is switched
on first and afterwards the receiver on the model. Doing this, you prevent uncontrolled model re-
sponses on interference frequencies of radio devices, broadcasting stations or remote controls on
neighbouring channels.
