10. Getting Started with the
 Model Vehicle
Since your model is already delivered quite prefabricated, there are only view more things
to do before getting started.

a) Taking off the car body

The car body is secured with two holding brackets (1) which
have to be slid out from the side of the retaining pins. In
order to be able to take the car body off on the left side, the
tank lid (2) has to be lifted a little. On the right side, the car
body has to be slid over the silencer pipe (3).
Now attention has to be paid that the car body doesn't get
stuck on the cylinder head or the exhaust (4) when it is taken
off.
At last the handle of the cable pull starter (5) is guided
through the opening of the car body. Putting on the car body
is carried out in reverse order.

b) Inserting the batteries/rechargeable batteries

Just like the car body, the lid of the RC box (1) is also se-
cured with a holding bracket (2). Once you have loosened
the brackets, you can lift off the lid towards the side and
take out the receiver battery box (3).
Now insert 4 micro batteries (AAA) or 4 freshly charged mi-
cro rechargeable batteries into the battery box. You should
now again pay attention to the correct polarity of the bat-
teries. According notes are directly inside the respective
battery compartments.
Afterwards put the battery compartment back into the RC
box and secure the lid again with the holding bracket.
Afterwards you guide the antenna wire (4) through the plas-
tic tube (5) included and put it into the holder in accord-
ance with the illustration. The top end of the antenna tube
is then closed with a cap.
