f) Setting of digital steering trim

The digital trim enables you to precisely adjust the centre
position of the steering servo lever (1). You have therefore

the possibility to level out tolerance of the servo related to
production or deviations that are caused by the toothed
installation of the servo lever.
Doing this, you should set an exact angle of 90° between
the servo lever and the steering rods (2). Only in this way
two equally sized turning radiuses are possible in both driv-
ing directions.
During driving, the digital trim offers you the possibility to
set an absolutely straight driving direction on your mini
combustion buggy. To do this, let your model roll onto a

straight and evenly smooth surface and don't carry out any

steering actions during the first test drive.
If the model is pulling toward the left, set the digital trim
towards the right, with the help of the trim button for steer-
ing (also see illustration 1, pos. 3). If the model is pulling

towards the right, you trim it towards the left.

Next to the trim display TRM and the channel 1, the correc-
tion value necessary will appear on the display, depending
on the trim direction L or R. The value set last is always au-
tomatically saved.
Afterwards the steering rods (2) are adjusted by turning
them until the original value of the trim (90°angle) can be

set again and the model then still runs absolutely straight.
