To recharge, the rechargeable receiver batteries have to be taken out of the battery compartment and
have to be inserted in a suitable charger.
Now pull out the transmitter antenna completely and turn on the transmitter. The function switch for
the model (see illustration 5, pos. 6) is located next to the holder for the antenna tube. Slide the switch
from the "OFF" position to the "ON" position.
Now your model is ready to use.
When you turn the steering wheel on the trans-
mitter (see illustration 1, pos. 2) towards the left
(L), the wheels on the model also have to carry
out a left turn.
If the steering wheel is turned towards the right
(R) the wheels have to turn right.
If the operating lever for the drive function (see
illustration 1, pos. 8) is pulled from its centre po-
sition into the direction of the handle (FW for "for-
ward"), the throttle servo (1) has open the slide
carburettor fully.
If the settings are correct, the engine will then run
at its maximum capacity.
If the operating lever for the drive function is
pushed forward, the slide carburettor is closed
and the vehicle is stopped (also see illustration
10).
Since the remote control included in delivery is
also suitable for model vehicles with electric mo-
tors that can drive backward, BW will appear in
the display (BW for "backward").

Should your model respond differently to the description above, you can program the re-
mote control accordingly. The precise approach can be read in the next section of the op-
erating instructions.
