D r i v e c h a i n a d j u s t m e n t :
1) R e m o v e t h e c o t t e r p i n a n d l o o s e n t h e rear w h e e l
nut (A) a n d s p r o k e t w h e e l nut (B).
2) L o o s e n t h e c h a i n a d j u s t i n g bolt l o c k n u t s (C).
3) R o t a t e t h e a d j u s t i n g b o l t s in or o u t , w h i c h e v e r is
n e e d e d to o b t a i n t h e c o r r e c t free p l a y , a n d at t h e
s a m e t i m e m a k e s u r e t h a t b o t h e n d s of t h e a x l e
are p o s i t i o n e d e v e n l y . T h i s c a n b e c h e c k e d b y
utilizing t h e m a r k s o n t h e v e r y e n d of t h e s w i n g
a r m s , j u s t a b o v e a n d t o t h e rear of t h e rear w h e e l
nuts.
4) A f t e r c o m p l e t i n g t h e a d j u s t m e n t , r e t i g h t e n all t h e
lock nuts.
5) Finally, be sure to install a new cotter pin and
check for correct brake pedal Operation as it could
have changed due to the chain adjustment.
