11.3.1
Gear oil draining
Manually unscrew gear vent screw (pos. 1).
Put a suitable collecting basin (min. volume 0.9 l) underneath the locking nut (pos. 3).
Loosen locking nut with a socket for wrenches (SW 19) and unscrew it carefully.
Let the running out oil drain off into the collecting basin.
Screw-in locking nut with new O-ring (NBR 9 x 2 mm) and tighten it up.
11.3.2
Gear oil top up
Fill new gear oil into the aperture for the gear vent screw (pos. 1) by using an
appropriate funnel (filling volume approx. 0.8 l).
Check oil level on oil-level gauge glass (pos. 2), min. and max. oil level see Fig. 11.5,
and rectify if necessary.

Motor replacement
11.4.1
Disassembly
Open the terminal box (pos. 2) of the motor (pos. 1).
Branch off the mains connection cable in the terminal box
Loosen cable connections (pos. 3) and carefully pull out the cable
The 4 motor attaching screws (pos. 4) have to be loosened crosswise and unscrewed.
Pull off motor towards the top. In case of stiffness, two screw drivers, which are carefully
pulled into the water drip grooves (pos. 4) of the housing flange, can be used so that the
motor can be raised straight upwards. The motor should not be set on its edges.
11.4.2
Installation
Clean splined shaft and housing flange, and moisten motor and splined shaft with
Teflon fat.
Place motor shaft right onto splined shaft and pull softly until flange is reached. Do not
set motor on its edges.
Turn the motor in a way that the terminal box points straight forward into the direction of
the stroke adjustment knob.
Place attachment screws (pos. 4) and tighten them crosswise (tightening torque 12 Nm).
Mains connection cable and (if necessary) connection cable to the pump housing may
then be reconnected
Re-establish mains voltage supply.
CAUTION
After 24 hours attaching screws have to be tightened up by 12 Nm.
