The following symbols are one means by which hazard types, prohibitions, protective
measures etc. are identified in the operating manual and on the genset. Their design
and message are generally in accordance with the stipulations of DIN 4844-2 and
DIN EN ISO 7010, which has been in force since 2012:

Safety instructions

The genset is constructed in accordance with the latest state of the art and recognised safety
rules. Nevertheless, over the course of the genset's service life, dangers to the life and safety
of users and third parties can arise and damage to the genset or other property can be
sustained.
The following therefore contains important information about using the genset, which
is intended to help safeguard both people and property from injury and damage. This
information must be supplemented by the statutory and locally valid regulations, which can
differ greatly depending on the installation location and purpose.
¨ At every installation location, enquire about the locally valid regulations (electricity
supply company directives, service regulations, company rules etc.) and observe them at
all times.
