ƒ Connection of electrical consumers meets the following criteria:
– AC operation is always only permitted with just 1 directly connected consumer. It
is not permitted to connect additional consumers to downstream cable reels or
multiple socket outlets.
– When extension cables are used in the AC network, maximum permissible cable
lengths apply according to the cable cross section and it is essential that these are
complied with, see
– One DC consumer at the 12 V DC connection and one at the USB port can be
operated parallel to an AC consumer.
– The total load of all connected consumers is lower than the total output of the
genset. The technical data of the consumers and genset (see e.g. the rating plate) are
definitive here. In the case of inductive consumers, also pay attention to the starting
current.
– The consumers may be operated on a genset in accordance with the manufacturer's
specifications and are suitable for the respective generated voltage and frequency.
It is particularly important to check this in the case of electronically controlled
devices that react sensitively to voltage fluctuations and that could be damaged by
overvoltage or undervoltage.

Misuse

Any use of the genset that deviates from what is specified as being proper use is regarded as
misuse. The consequences of misuse are as follows:
ƒ Any misuse is at your own risk.
ƒ Misuse voids all warranty claims.
ƒ No liability will be accepted for injury or material damage that results from misuse.
It is therefore essential to avoid misuse. This applies particularly to foreseeable misuse that
can occur, for instance, in the following circumstances:
I Operation by persons who, due to their physical, sensory or mental capabilities, their
inexperience or lack of familiarity, are not able to safely operate the appliance. Children in
particular must be kept away from the genset.
I Non-adherence to safety and warning notices, and maintenance and repair regulations.
I Refuelling the genset while it is in operation.
I Operation in a location where there is a risk of fire or explosion.
I Operation in closed rooms.
I Spraying with high-pressure cleaner or fire extinguishers.
