Troubleshooting
ATTENTION!
If signs of a fault appear during operation, the genset must be switched off
immediately in order to prevent further damage.
The purpose of the following instructions is to assist you in searching for possible causes and
remedying faults. If this information is not sufficient, you have the following possibilities:
If you have any questions, contact your specialist dealer's service experts. Have the

following information to hand about your genset:
– Type designation and serial number (see rating plate).
– Counter reading of operating hours meter.
– Information about the usual conditions of use and current performance.
Have repairs done only by authorised specialists, and follow the relevant maintenance

Remedy
Turn the engine switch into the
position I (fuel valve is integrated).
Fill up the tank.
Push the choke lever into the Closed
position.
Fill up with engine oil or set up the
genset horizontally.
Drain off the engine oil and replace it
according to the specification.
Remove the spark plug. Dry and clean
the electrodes, and adjust the gap.
Replace faulty spark plug (e.g. if it has a
hairline crack).
Inspect, clean and, if necessary, tighten
the cable connections (including
contacts in the spark plug connector).
Inspect and replace if necessary.
Send the genset for inspection and have
it repaired.
Drain off engine oil.
Set up the genset as horizontally as
possible.
