1. GENERAL INFORMATION

You should talk to the responsible heating inspector/chimney
sweep in your district before installing your stove. The inspector
will advise you about the relevant building regulations and the
suitability of your chimney, as well as carrying out the approval
process for your stove. The inspection of your chimney will be
conducted in accordance with DIN EN 13384 using the three key
values provided in these instructions (see "Technical data").
Important information about small children, old or frail people and
pets:
As with all heating appliances, it is a good idea to install safety
devices for these groups of people because the glass panel and
also the outer casing of the stove can become very hot!
Risk of burning!
Never allow these groups of people to touch or use a stove that is
burning or has just been extinguished without supervision!
National and European standards, relevant country-specific and
local regulations and guidelines, as well as the relevant fire regula-
tions in the German state, are to be observed when installing and
operating your stove and when connecting it to the chimney.
The stove is generally to be operated with the door closed. It is not
permitted to change the closing mechanism.

1.1 CERTIFIED QUALITY

OUR STOVES ARE TESTED ACCORDING TO DIN EN 13240.
The stoves have a self-closing firebox door so that the door is only
opened for operating the fireplace (e.g. cleaning the firebox or for
putting more fuel on the fire). It is not permitted to tamper with
the closing mechanism for safety reasons and should this occur
it will invalidate the guarantee and the approval to use the stove.
The guarantee and the approval to use the stove are also invali-
dated if the stove is technically modified in any other area by the
customer.

• Firebox made of refractory concrete
• Primary and secondary airflow systems
• Pull-out ash pan or ash tray and ash grate (not all models)
• Self-closing firebox door with a high temperature-resistant
ceramic glass panel
• Heat protection gloves*
• Type plate (see 3.4 for attachment)
• Delivered preassembled in a disposable cardboard packaging
that is easy to transport
• Heat storage stones (only with CUBO M, PIKO M, SENSO L
(optional), PASSO M)
• Pump thermostat, thermal discharge safety device ¾", bleed
valve (only for the SENSO M H
* Please note: The enclosed glove is designed exclusively to provide heat
protection and is not fire resistant!
