Das 2. EPROM (31/4) der neuen Software-
Version mit der Bezeichnung R2.x ist in Positi-
on D15 in der gleichen Richtung wie D14
einzustecken.
3.3.4
Einbau der Mikrocomputerleiter-
karte
Die Mikrocomputerleiterkarte ist in die Aus-
gangslage (Bauteile nach unten) zu drehen.
Die Mikrocomputerleiterkarte ist wieder in die
Führungsnuten der Abdeckhaube (30/1) ein-
zuschieben.
Möglicherweise
ist der Pertinax-
`
Abstandsstreifen herausgefallen und muB in
diesem
Fall zuerst, vor der Mikrocomputer-
leiterkarte in die gleichen
Führungsschlitze
eingeschoben werden.
Bevor die Abdeckhaube wieder vollständig auf
die geschlitzten
Führungsbolzen
aufgesetzt
wird, noch einmal alle Steckvorrichtungen auf
korrekten Sitz prüfen.
Die Abdeckhaube ist mit etwas Kraft in Rich-
tung rechter Seitenwand in die Ursprungslage
zurückzuschieben.
Die zwei Innensechskantschrauben (30/2) sind
wieder einzuschrauben und mit dem
5 mm Schlüssel fest anzudrehen.
Rechte Seitenwand wieder anbringen.
Zum Test der erfolgreichen Installation. der
neuen Software-Version ist der UL100 wie
gewohnt in Betrieb zu nehmen. Es sollte zu-
nächst festgestelit werden, ob in der Statusan-
zeige die richtige Software-Version angezeigt
wird. Nach Erreichen des "STBY"-Zustands
müssen
die Funktionen
entsprechend
Ab-
schnitt 2 ausführbar sein.
Die alten Programm-EPROMs bitte an LEY-
BOLD AG in 5000 Kóln.51, Postfach 510
760, Abt. APE 22 zurücksenden.
3.4 Service
Der Statusreport gibt im Servicefall wichtige
Informationen über den internen Zustand des
UL 100 PLUS. Der Statusreport ist jedoch nur
über die RS 232-C-Schnittstelle auslesbar.

Allgemeine Hinweise
Eine Änderung der Konstruktion und der an-
gegebenen Daten behalten wir uns vor. Die

Insert
the second EPROM (31/4) with the new
software release designated R2.x in position D
15 with the same orientation
as D14. Inspect
both sides of both chips to ensure that every
pin is properly inserted in the socket.
3.3.4 Reassembly of the Microprocessor
PCB
Bring the microprocessor pcb. back to the ini-
tial position with the components facing down-
wards.
Insert the microprocessor pcb. into the guide
grooves of the cover lid (30/1). Possibly tho
Pertinax spacer has fallen out, and if so, it
must be inserted into the same guide grooves
before inserting the microprocessor pcb.
Before
placing the cover lid on the slotted
guides it is advisable to check the seating of
all the connectors.
Push the cover lid in the direction of the side
cover using a little pressure so that the cover
is pushed back into the initial position.
Sorew in two hex screws (30/2) and tighten
them with the 5 mm Allan key.
Again attach the side cover.
For testing of the new software release switch
on the UL 100 PLUS as usual. First look at
the status display to see if the right software
release is indicated. Then after reaching the
"STBY" status the new functions as describ-
ed in Section 2 must be executable.
Please retum the old EPROMs to your local
LEYBOLD sales or service office.
'8.4 Service
The status report provides important informa-
tion on the internal status of the UL 100 PLUS.
in the case of servicing. However, the status
report.can only be output via the RS 232 C
interface. For this refer to the interface de-
scription given in the Service Manual
SB 10.207.

Placer le 2ème EPROM (31/4) de la nouvelle
version du logiciel, désignée par R2.x, dans la
position D15 et dans le même sens que D14.
3.3.4 Montage de la carte à micropro-
cesseur
Retourner la carte à microprocesseur pour que
le composant soit orienté vers le bas.
La glisser de nouveau
dans les rainures du
capot (30/1) Si la bande d'écartement en
Pertinax est tombée il faut la remettre dans les
rainures avant de glisser la carte.
Vérifier la bonne fixation de tous les connec-
teurs avant de replacer le capot sur los guides
fendus.
Repousser le capot un peu fortement en direc-
tion de la paroi latérale droite jusqu'à ce qu'il
revienne en position d'origine.
Revisser les deux vis à 6 pans creux (30/2) et
les bloquer avec la clé de 5 mm.
Remonter la paroi latérale,
Mettre UL 100 PLUS en service comme d'ha-
bitude pour vérifier si l'installation de la version
du logiciel donne
satisfaction.
La nouvelle
version
du
logiciel
doit
apparaître
dans
l'affichage. Lorsque l'appareil atteint le mode
"STBY", les fonctions décrites dans 2 doivent
être exécutables.
Renvoyer s.v.p. les anciens EPROM
à LEY-
BOLD AG, Service APE 22, boîte postale 510
760, 5000 Cologne 51, RFA.
3.4 Service
Le rapport d'état donne des informations, im-
portantes pour les réparations, concernant l'état
interne de UL 100 PLUS. Toutefois le rapport
d'état n'est lisible que par l'interface RS 232 C.
