Der Faktor-ULTRA
ist damit bestimmt.
Die
Faktoren GROSS und FINE werden aus dem
Faktor-ULTRA berechnet.
Bei zu geringer Empfindlichkeit kann beim Ka-
librieren mit der Taste "HAND" auf die andere
Katode umgeschaitet werden.
Der
Kalibriervorgang
kann
jederzeit durch
Drücken der Taste "Trigger. und Kalibrierung"
abgebrochen werden.
2.6.3 Kalibrieren mit externem Testieck
Externes Testleck öffnen
UL 100 PLUS mit der Taste "START" in den
Zustand Messen bringen.
Mit Multifunktionstaste "Trigger und Kalibrie- `
rung" das Kalibrieren anwáhlen
und mit der
Taste "ENTER" quittieren.
Auf der Statusanzeige (26/1) im Servicefeld
erscheint "CAL".
Das Massenspektrometer kann jetzt mit Po-

Die Leckratenanzeige wird dann maximal.
Externes Testleck schließen

vorhandenen

faktoren GROSS, FINE und ULTRA einzelnen
bestimmt werden. Dazu muß vor dem Kalibrie-
ren durch Drücken der Taste "HAND" die au-
tomatische
Meßbereichswahl
ausgeschaltet
werden.
Durch
Drücken
der Werteingabeta-
sten (4/19) und (4/6) kann der entsprechende
Meßbereich angewählt werden. Hierzu muß

the calibration process. The internal calibrated
leak closes. audibly.
In this way the ULTRA factor has been deter-
mined. The factors for FINE and GROSS are
computed based on the ULTRA factor.
When the sensitivity is too low during calibra-
lion it is possible to manually switch over to
the other cathode by pressing the "MANUAL"
pushbutton.
The calibration process may be terminated at
any time by pressing the "Trigger and Cali-
brate" pushbutton.
2.6.3 Calibration with an external cali-
brated leak
Open the external calibrated leak.
Set up the UL 100 PLUS
to the measure
mode by pressing the "START" pushbutton.
Use the multifunction pushbutton "Trigger and
Calibrate" to select the calibrate mode and
acknowledge this by pressing the "ENTER"
pushbutton.
The status display (26/1) on the service panel
will read "CAL".
Now the sensitivity of the mass spectrometer
may be set to maximum by operating potenti-
ometer "M4" (26/12) (ses Section 2.6.1). The
leak rate display will also show à maximum.
Now close the external calibrated leak.
Suppress any existing background by operat-
ing the autozero pushbutton (4/14).
Open the external calibrated leak.
The leak rate which is imprinted on the cali-
brated leak is entered via the parameter entry
pushbuttons (4/19) and (4/6).
Pressing the "ENTER" pushbutton terminates
the calibration process.
In this way the ULTRA factor has been deter-
mined. The factors for FINE and GROSS are
computed based on the ULTRA factor.
In the partial flow mode (see operating modes
(3) and (4) in Fig. 20) it is possible to sepa-
rately
determine
the
calibration
factors
GROSS, FINE and ULTRA. To do this, it is
first of all required to switch off the autorang-
ing function by operating the. "MANUAL"
pushbutton. Operation of the parameter entry
pushbuttons (4/19) and (4/6) selects the re-
quired measurement range. For this the

brée s'ouvre à nouveau.
On règle ensuite le taux de fuite inscrit sur la
fuite calibrée à l'aide des touches d'introduction
de valeurs (4/19) et (4/6).
Aprés l'actionnement de la touche "ENTER",
le calibrage est terminé. On entend la fermeture
de la fuite calibrée interne.
Le facteur ULTRA est ainsi déterminé.
Les
facteurs GROSS et FINE sont calculés à partir
du facteur ULTRA.
Si la sensibilité est trop faible, on peut passer,
pour le calibrage, à l'autre cathode avec
la
touche "manuelle".
L'interruption du calibrage est possible à tout
moment avec la touche "trigger et calibrage".
2.6.3 Calibrage avec une fuite calibrée
externe
Ouvrir la fuite calibrée externe.
Placer UL 100 PLUS dans l'état mesure avec
la touche "START".
Sélectionner
le calibrage
avec
la touche
multifonction "trigger et calibrage" et confirmer
avec la touche "ENTER".
"CAL" apparait sur l'indicateur d'état (26/1) du
panneau de commande.
On peut alors régler le spectromètre de masse
sur
la sensibilité
maximale
avec
le poten-
tiométre
"M4"
(26/12)
(Cf.
section
2.6.1).
L'indication du taux de fuite est alors maximale.
Raccorder la fuite calibrée externe.
Corriger ensuite un éventuel fond hélium en
actionnant la touche ZERO (4/14).
Ouvrir la fuite calibrée externe.
On règle ensuite le taux de fuite inscrit sur la
fuite calibrée à l'aide des touches d'introduction
de valeurs (4/19) et (4/6).
Après l'actionnement de la touche "ENTER",
le calibrage est terminé.
En service normal le facteur ULTRA est ainsi
déterminé. Les facteurs GROSS et FINE sont
calculés à partir du facteur ULTRA.
En service à flux partiel (Cf. les modes (3) et
(4) dans la fig. 20) les facteurs de calibrage
GROSS, FINE et ULTRA peuvent être déter-
minés séparément. il faut pour cela couper la
sélection automatique des gammes de mesure
en actionnant la touche "manuelle" avant le
calibrage. La gamme
de mesure
désirée se
choisit alors par les touches d'introduction de
valeurs (4/19) et (4/6). H faut pour cela que
