9.3 Battery connection
WARNING!
Risk of electric shock!
Accumulator batteries pose a potentially lethal
shock and short-circuit hazard to unqualified
persons!
The battery connection may only be carried out
by a suitably qualified electrician, following the
applicable regulations and standards!
The relevant notes in this manual, especially at
the beginning of this chapter, must be observed!
DIP switch setting
Proceed as follows for each battery module:
• Open the protective flap marked DC SWITCH of the
respective battery module (1.1).
• In each case, set the DIP switch (1.2) to ON,
whose numbering corresponds to the module number
(module 1: switch 1, module 2: switch 2,
and if applicable, so on).
For the battery wiring, first remove the covers
of the cable box and the battery modules
and proceed as follows:
Connecting the battery communication cables
• Connect the battery communication cable of the
cable box to the port marked BAT on the right side
of the cable box (2.1) and the connection marked INV
on the left rear on the top of the first battery module
(2.2).
• To connect additional battery modules, use the com-
munication cable supplied with the respective battery
module to connect the ports marked COMM on the
right-hand side of the battery modules (2.3).

corresponding cable set section under "Packing list".
