Procedure for recharging the battery during storage
• Before charging a battery, check its appearance for deformation,
casing damage, leakage, etc.
and only charge it when it is in perfect condition.
• Connect the power cables correctly to a battery charger.
The maximum number of modules connected in parallel is 8.
• Open the protective flap marked DC SWITCH on the left side of
the/each battery storage module and switch on the battery switch.
• Operate the start key on the front of the/each battery module
for approx. 3 seconds until the LED indicators light up
to start the battery storage.
• Switch on the battery charger.
• Set charging parameter on the battery charger as follows:
Limited charging voltage: 56.5 V
Limited charging current when charging 1 battery module: 50 A
Limited charging current when charging 2-8 battery modules: 100 A
• When the battery storage is fully charged, switch off the battery
charger.
• Turn off the battery switch on the left side of the/each battery
storage module and close the protective flap.
• Disconnect the DC cables.
• Operate the start key on the front of the/each battery
for approx. 3 seconds until the LED indicator lights go out
to switch off the battery storage.
