Important notes on grounding
WARNING!
Risk of electric shock!
Missing or faulty earthing can lead to fatal
electric shocks, injuries or malfunctions
and cause electromagnetic interference!
Before connecting to the power supply,
make sure that the entire system is correctly
earthed by a qualified electrician in compliance
with all relevant regulations, standards and
instructions!
For grounding, all system components must be earthed
via the grounding connections marked correspondingly
( ).
Proceed as follows:
• Connect the battery grounding port of the inverter
on the right-hand side of the cable box (1.1)
to the grounding port of the first battery module on its
left-hand side (2.1) by loosening the screw from the
connection in each case with a suitable screwdriver,
placing the eye of the corresponding grounding cable
against the screw hole and fixing it in place by tighten-
ing the screw.
• If applicable, connect the grounding ports on the
left-hand side of each of the first and second battery
module in the same way (2.1, 2.2).
• If applicable, connect all grounding ports of further
battery modules in the same way as those of the first
and second battery module.
• Earth the entire system via the grounding port /
grounding rail on the front of the cable box (3.1).
