Specific requirements for battery storage
ATTENTION!
Limited shelf life when storing the battery modules!
Longer storage times and/or unfavourable storage conditions can
reduce the service life of the battery storage.
Follow the instructions below
on storage conditions and charging intervals
and do not exceed the storage time
according to the specified periods!
If a battery module is deformed, defective or leaking,
dispose of it immediately, regardless of the storage time!
Notesoncapacityreduction:
The capacity of a lithium battery decreases during storage and
usually declines irreversibly by 3%-10% after a storage period of 12
months under the appropriate storage conditions.
Storage conditions for battery modules
• Ambient temperature: -10°C~45°C
• Recommended storage temperature: 20°C~30°C
• Relative humidity: 0% RH~95% RH (No condensation)
• No direct sunlight
• More than 2 metres away from any heat source
Charging intervals
Recharge the battery modules
at least at the following time intervals:
Storage temperature
-10°C ≤ T ≤ 30°C
30°C ≤ T ≤ 45°C
Note:
Recharge the battery modules a maximum of 3 times
over a maximum period of 3 years, as described in the following section!
If this number or period is exceeded, it is recommended
to dispose of the battery storage!
