9.2 AC connection
WARNING!
Risk of electric shock!
If connected by unqualified persons there is a risk of fatal
electric shock!
The AC connection may only be carried out by a suitably
qualified electrician, taking into account the applicable
regulations and standards, as well as the corresponding
instructions in this manual!
Notes on the AC cables
• Observe the following requirements for each AC cable:
• Use a 4-6mm² or 12-10AWG cable for the BACKUP connection
and a 6mm² or 10AWG cable for the ON GRID connection.
• Make sure that the resistance of the cables is below 1 Ohm each.
• If a cable is longer than 20 m, it is recommended to use
a 6mm² cable for the BACKUP connection and
an 8AWG or 8mm² cable for the ON GRID connection.
• Please also note the following dimensions (1):
1.1 External diameter
1.2 Copper conductor cross-section
1.3 Stripping length of the insulated
conductors
1.4 Stripping length of the outer sheath
of the AC cable
Note: The PE conductor must be 10mm longer
than the L and N conductors.
