• Missing or faulty grounding can lead to fatal electric
shocks, injuries or malfunction of the system and
cause electromagnetic interference!
Before connecting the supply, make absolutely sure
that the entire system has been correctly grounded
by a certified electrician and that the local regula-
tions for grounding PV modules and PV generators,
as well as the relevant sections of this manual, have
been observed!
• Accumulator batteries in particular pose a potential
shock and short-circuit hazard!
Rubber shoes and gloves must be worn during bat-
tery (de)installation,
watches, jewellery or similar metallic objects must
be taken off and insulated tools must be used!
Do not place any metallic objects on the batteries!
Before disassembling the battery terminals, switch
off the loads connected to the batteries!
• Both the battery storage and the inverter can keep a
life-threatening high voltage even after being discon-
nected from the power supply!
They must therefore be tested by a suitably qualified
person with a properly calibrated voltage tester be-
fore any work is carried out on the system!
Do not touch the battery outputs under any circum-
stances!
