Notes on transporting the energy storage system
WARNING!
Risk of injury, fire and electric shock!
Lithium batteries are classified as dangerous goods!
The energy storage system may only be transported
by appropriately qualified and authorised persons
in compliance with the relevant safety regulations!
In case of improper transport, the system may be
damaged and cause an explosion or fire,
electric shocks and short circuits,
as well as release harmful substances!
Additional instructions for transport personnel
• When transporting the system in a vehicle, it must
be secured against tipping over with retaining straps.
• A certified ABC fire extinguisher with minimum capacity
of 2kg must be carried along when transporting.
• Smoking in the vehicle and in the vicinity of the vehicle
during loading and unloading is strictly prohibited.
Generalinstructionsforlatertransport
If the system or its components have to be transported
after unpacking / at a later time, observe the following
instructions:
• Battery modules may only be transported in appropriate
hazardous goods packaging!
If necessary, request a new one of this kind
and have the product packed in it transported
by a suitably qualified and authorised person!
• For transporting additional components, keep the corre-
sponding original packaging and always have them trans-
ported packed in it in the same way as when delivered.
The markings on them must be observed!
