8.3 Mounting procedure

Some components of the unit can be sharp-
edged!
Protect yourself from injury during installation,
e.g. by wearing work gloves!
Note:
On the BACKUP port of the system, the type
B RCD must be installed according to local
regulations.
For installation on solid masonry (brick, concrete or
similar), proceed as described below.
If the system is to be mounted on a different type of
wall, replace the fasteners mentioned according to the
substrate.
Mounting the battery storage
• Position the first battery storage module
at the desired position parallel to the wall (1).
• Place the battery bracket/mounting plate on the rear
edge of the top of the module so that the respective
screw holes are on top of each other.
Mark the position of the marked screw holes on the
wall (1.1) and remove the mounting plate again.
• Drill the marked spots each with a Ø10mm drill
approx. 70mm deep.
• Tap 4 dowels D10 × 50 into the drill holes
with a rubber mallet.
