9. Connecting the System
9.1 Important notes on connecting
the energy storage system
WARNING!
Risk of electric shock!
This energy storage system may only be connected, grounded
and commissioned by a certified electrician in accordance
with the applicable regulations and standards!
There is a risk of life-threatening electric shock for unqualified
persons!
Accumulator batteries in particular pose a potential risk of
electric shock and short circuit!
To avoid accidents during battery (un)installation,
follow the instructions below!
Important notes on battery (de)installation
• Use insulated tools during installation
and wear rubber shoes and gloves!
• Do not wear watches, rings or similar metallic items
and do not place metallic tools and similar metallic parts on the
battery modules!
• Switch off the load connected to the system
before dismantling the battery connection terminals.
Important information about cables
• To protect the cables from damage, make sure they are not pinched,
kinked or twisted and cannot come into contact with sharp edges,
pointed corners or hot surfaces.
• If a cable is damaged or needs to be replaced, this must be done by
a certified electrician using the correct tools to avoid danger.
